Plumpy'Nut®

Plumpy'Nut® was developed in 1996 and is specifically designedd for treatment of severe acute malnutrition. It is suitable for ages 6 months and up and complies with the definition of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) that require no prior preparation, dilution or reconstitution as established in 2007 by World Health Organization, the World Food Programme, the United Nations Standing Committee on Nutrition and the United Nations Children's Fund.

Plumpy'Sup™

Plumpy'Sup™ is a ready-to-use supplementary food (RUFS) developed to address moderate acute malnutrition in children from 6 months and up. Plumpy'Sup™ can also be used to prevent the re-emergence of severe malunutrition, particularly in children exiting therapeutic feeding programs.

Plumpy'Doz™

Plumpy'Doz™ is a ready-to-use supplementary food (RUSF) used to reduce the incidence of acute malnutrion (moderate or severe) in children 6-36 months uring times of food insecurity. Plumpy'Doz™ should be used to supplement the traditional diet and is well suited for humanitarian situations.

Roasted peanut

A locally conceived initiative. Samil's peanuts are sorted, roasted and blanched in its own facility, resulting in high quality, un-salted roasted groundnuts packaged in 20 kg vacumed food-grade packaging.
